About
I am a skilled, empathetic counselor who loves to help couples and individuals make their way on the road to change. I have a passion for helping couples improve their communication and emotional connection as well as heal from the traumatic betrayal of an affair or pornography addiction.
My own experiences with anxiety, grief and loss have created a personal connection with the individuals I work with who are struggling with anxiety and depression or trying to find their way while grieving a loss.
I received specialized training in marriage and family therapy in the Masters program at Utah State University where I gained some great experience working with couples, families and adolescents. My education has given me a unique framework to help couples, families and individuals achieve lasting change.
I have also received Level One training of Lifespan Integration therapy. This is a gentle approach to healing trauma that is highly effective and comfortable. Whether you have suffered abuse, relationship betrayal, loss, grief or any other traumatic event, I will guide you through the process of becoming whole and well again. (For more information on Lifespan Integration, please see www.lifespanintegration.com).
I have been married 17 years and I love spending time with my husband and three kids. Our favorite tradition is Family Movie Night every Friday night.
I love decorating my home, reading, doing calligraphy and watercolor art.
